We all enjoyed the wonderful summer of outdoor concerts with the SMSO:
beautiful music, rewarding collaborations, virtuosic playing from the orchestra and large crowds. A treat. Now we look forward to building on that success throughout our exciting fall/winter season at the Mendel.

A really significant change for us this year is a new ticket pricing structure, one that has been very consciously designed to make our concerts truly accessible to all (kids 12 and under may attend any of our fall/ winter subscription concerts free of charge - how many symphony orchestras can say that!).

In short, what we offer is a varied program of great music, showcasing a terrific orchestra at the peak of its form, close by and affordable.

Honestly, it's difficult to imagine an artistic organization of which one could be more proud.
